The first 2 years of the degree are certified by Cavendish College London and the final year is honoured as a top up degree by the UK University. The degree is not a UGC, AICTE or Govt. of India honoured degree.
Course Description:
The Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design aims to honor a global context of learning in fashion and allows students to progress from a foundation to a professional level in various stages with a mix of guided and studio based self learning approach. The objective of the course is to develop the creative, technical and professional expertise of a fashion individual to work within a global environment.
In Year One students undergo foundation in art & design to develop creative thinking and understand the design development process. Students are also introduced to global fashion studies and fundamental modules in Fashion. By the end of the year students are able to creatively translate their inspirations from 2D to a final 3D product with a sound technical ability. Students study varied modules and learn to adopt a global perspective on fashion.
In Year Two students develop both creative and technical skills in fashion and investigate the wider social, cultural and economic impact on fashion and work towards making a collection at the end of the year. Students study advance level modules with greater understanding and exposure to market trends and industry needs. In this year students apply their learning to both women's wear and menswear by end of the year. Several integrated projects allow students to develop their personal identity in fashion whilst learning the technical skills and experimenting their creative freedom.
In Year Three students work towards attaining a professional outlook towards their work. In the first term of this year, students undergo a professional industry internship within a chosen filed of specialization. In the the second term students are assisted to work on a self proposed project combining all the skills acquired during the first two years and the industry experience during the first term. The final year thus aims at developing a professional creative portfolio, interpersonal skills and a strong business acumen for students to be able to progress onto Post Graduate Degrees across the globe or work within the global fashion industry.

Course Assessment:
The course is assessed through assignments and projects on a continuous assessment basis through the year.
FAD Europe Tour:
The Europe tour gives students an exclusive opportunity to visit some of the worlds finest fashion capitals such as Paris, London & Milan for fashion events and guest lectures at leading fashion universities. Students achieve both a professional and an unparallel academic experience providing a platform to work on a global level on completion of the course
Academic Progression:
On successful completion of the first two years, students have the opportunity to complete their third year from universities in UK by transferring credits achieved at FAD International in the initial two years of the Bachelor's course to
