A mid term showcase of semi done garments combined with an art, photography and a video viewings of work done by FAD Students. Students had an opportunity to present their work at an event at Fad Campus which was attended by parents, international university delegates and friends.

FAD Graduate Showcase “ A story in Itlsef” - ( 11th July 2009, Pune )
A Grand Finale... The day marked the Graduate Showcase of FAD International, an International Institution in Creative Arts & Design.
Being attended by the crème de la crème of Bollywood & Pune socialites like Emraan Hashmi, Smiley Suri, Ken Ghosh, Salil Chaturvedi, Vatsal Seth, Mohit Suri, Nivedita Sabu, Varsha Talera, Choradias, Bhansalis, Mr. Kunal Deshmukh, Sahil Saigal, Shivang & Maitree Dhruva, Mr. Ashok Dhruva & Mrs Madhuri Dhruva & more, the evening had fashion runways, an art & photography showcase and short documentary premieres.
The annual Art, Fashion & Design showcase of FAD International was an amalgamation of inspirations from design capitals of the world. The Art Exhibition displayed larger than life artworks and installations by young artists on avant-garde and Bollywood as the theme. The fashion runways showcased the following lines. |
- High Street Fashion: Inspired from the streets of London through the recent student Europe Tour, students will showcase wearable street clothing for an international market.
- Avant Garde: Flamboyant, unexpected, extreme …pushing the limits to extreme creativity, designers go wild on the creations..Inspired from the catwalks of the Milan and Paris fashion weeks, students translate their creative skills on the runway…showstoppers in the offering.
- Red Carpet: Couture at its very best...for the first time young designers will showcase extreme technical abilities through made to measure one of red carpet garments…the show stealers…
- Art on the Move: The canvas on the move, artists will for the first time create artworks on the move…larger than life showcase on this runway.

FAD gets invited to global design events such as the London Fashion Week, 100 % Design Festival, Milan Fashion Week and the academic team at FAD is formed through a strong alumnus from leading design schools of the world such as London College of Fashion. IED Italy, NTU, FIT New York, University of Wales, NIFT & others.

University Fair for Creative Education in Europe & India at TAJ Pune
For the first time in India, students will get an opportunity to seek exclusive guidance on creative education in Europe and India on 17th June at Hotel TAJ BLUE DIAMOND. Faculties from leading European universities and FAD International-Pune in association with Education Times will be holding seminars, one-one meetings and portfolio evaluation sessions for students and parents looking for Sept 2009 & Jan 2010 admissions.
Information sessions on universities such as Nottingham Trent University, FAD International-Pune, Bath School of Art & Design, University for Creative Arts UK, Istituto Europe di Design Italy, Goldsmiths College- University of London, International Design School Australia, Coventry School of Art & Design at Coventry University, Cavendish College London, Middlesex University, Brunel University and more will be held by university delegates and representative offices.
Students can seek information on both UG & PG courses in Art, Architecture, Animation, Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Car Design, Product & Industrial Design, Communication & Graphic Design, Interactive Design, Film & Video, Photography, Fine Art & all other fields within Art, Design, Media and Communication.
Students will also get an opportunity to meet ex-students from London College of Fashion, University of Arts London, Istituto Europeo di Design, Cavendish College London, University of Wales and more to talk about their personal experiences.
Students will further be assisted on spot admissions at FAD International, overseas university applications, portfolio development, bank loans, visa guidance and all other parameters pertaining to creative education. Students will be guided on options of studying overseas, achieve international qualifications in India or complete partial qualifications in India and progress to UK & Italy to complete their degrees. |

Middlesex University Media Department visit to FAD International
| Mr. James Charlton from the Middlesex University Media Department recently visited FAD International to meet prospective students wishing to progress onto higher education at both UG & PG level. Mr James Charlton, evaluated work and portfolios of students of the Film Department at FAD International and was happy to offer selected students and opportunity to progress onto their Film & Media courses at higher level. Mr. Charlton also exchanged views on the curriculum with the head of Film & Media Department, Mr. Flavius Pisapia at FAD International. |

Nottingham Trent University – Art & Design Department visit to FAD International
| Mr. Wallace Murdoch, Director of International Admissions and faculty at Art & Design Department will be visiting FAD international on the 17th of June. Mr. Wallace will be addressing students at FAD international and will be evaluation portfolios and applications of students wishing to progress onto UG & PG courses within Fashion Design, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Business, Fine Art, Product Design, Gaming Design and other art, design & media related courses. |
