FAD styling talents step into the creative mindspace of Dior, Saint Laurent and Mango - crafting images that mirror luxury brand storytelling.

As part of the February 2025 Fashion Styling program, students undertook a Commercial Styling Project guided by renowned stylist and creative director Stephen Healy. The brief challenged them to conceptualise and create a campaign image that authentically represented the visual identity of a luxury brand of their choice.

Drawing from fashion houses such as Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Mango, students interpreted each brand’s aesthetic through meticulously curated looks and thoughtful styling decisions.

Dior-inspired portraits embraced femininity and grace through timeless silhouettes and soft, refined textures. In contrast, the Yves Saint Laurent direction showcased structural elegance, monochrome palettes and bold tailoring. Mango’s contemporary minimalism was expressed through clean lines, layered neutrals and understated modernity.

The photography further elevated the project, pairing editorial framing with refined lighting and tonal contrast to create images that felt aligned with each brand’s visual DNA. Every portrait balanced commercial sensibility with creativity, demonstrating a strong understanding of brand identity and narrative building.
