TERMS & CONDITIONS
FAD International Academy is an autonomous private institution registered in India under Pune Academy of Design & Communication PVT. Ltd.
Only the programmes UG Fashion Design, PG Fashion Design and UG Fashion Business offer Diplomas accredited by National Council for Vocational Research and Training (NCVRT - Govt. Of India recognized body). Please refer to individual titles of the qualifications awarded by NCVRT at FAD International Academy. Also refer to your conditional offer letter for the title of the dual certification offered by SQA & ATHE (UK Awarding Bodies) for relevant qualifications. Students also need to clear relevant exams set by NCVRT to receive relevant Diploma awards.
All other programmes do not result in the awarding of a Diploma or government of India recognized qualifications. FAD International Academy also does not deliver any UGC / AICTE recognized degrees or qualifications.
FAD International Academy provides an industry-focused curriculum with opportunities to progress into the industry and to further and higher education overseas.
ADMISSIONS OFFER LETTER
1. The offer is made based on a signed application form submitted by the student and further agreeing to the terms and conditions set out in the application form.
2. FAD International Academy holds the right to withdraw the conditional offer if the conditions set out in this letter are not met within deadlines by the student.
3. Signed copy of the offer letter on all the pages shall be retained by FAD International Academy which shows your acceptance of all the rules & regulations at FAD International Academy.
4. Payment of enrolment fees and/or 1st installment is deemed to be acceptance of all the terms and conditions in the conditional offer letter and application form.
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
1. All fees paid including GST & enrolment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable to any other students.
2. If the student requests a transfer from a campus that has a lower fee to a campus with a higher fee for the same course the differential fees has to be paid by the student 20 days before the students commences the course at the transferred campus.
3. If the student requests a transfer from a campus that has a higher fee to a campus with a lower fee for the same course any differential fees arising in such case will not be refunded to the student.
DATA MANAGEMENT POLICY
At our school, we prioritize precise data management in alignment with SQA criteria. This information is disseminated comprehensively among our staff through written procedures that outline each stage of data handling. Operational responsibilities are clearly assigned, with designated individuals entrusted to oversee and periodically review the effectiveness of these processes.
Candidates’ Personal Information
Data Capture Method:
Enrollment Forms: Candidates will provide essential details like full name, date of birth, gender, home address, and their Scottish Candidate Number (SCN) if known, through online enrollment forms.
Update Process for Personal Details:
Communication at Induction: Candidates are informed about the importance of promptly updating any changes in their personal information. Information updates, especially SCNs, can be managed through SQA Connect.
Protecting Candidate Data
GDPR Compliance Information:
Placement: A data exchange statement, ensuring GDPR compliance, will be included in the enrollment form or candidate induction checklist.
Storage and Security of Candidate Information:
Secure Storage Protocols: Candidate personal information will be securely stored, and access will be restricted to authorized personnel only.
Assessment, internal verification and candidate records
We retain the following records for a minimum of two calendar year following the completion of qualifications:
• a list of candidates registered with SQA for each qualification offered in the centre
• details of candidate assessment, including the name of the assessor, location, date and outcome
• internal verification activity
• certificates claimed
These records are maintained in a retrievable format and made available to SQA quality assurance staff on request.
Retention of evidence and records in cases of appeal or suspected malpractice
Secure location to store evidence - Programme leaders password protected and access protected google drive.
• Following an appeal against an internal assessment result, we maintain retain records including all materials and candidate evidence, until the appeal has been resolved.
• Following an investigation into suspected malpractice, weretain all related records, documentation and evidence for three years for non-regulated qualifications and six years for regulated qualifications.
• Following an investigation involving a criminal prosecution or civil claim, we retain all records, documentation and evidence for six years after the case and any appeal has been heard.

MISCELLANEOUS

1. Candidates need to submit any pending documents as needed by FAD INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY if required in the future.
2. This course contains an optional Study Tour to Europe/Dubai, the cost of which will have to be borne additionally, if the candidate desires be a part of this tour.
3. For any candidate who chooses to pursue the dual country program with FAD Dubai campus will have to request for dual country course offer letter.
4. Any dispute concerning the execution and interpretation of the Agreement shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
