THE CHANGING FACE OF FASHION : A STYLIST & A DESIGNER'S PERSPECTIVE

In conversation with Devki Bhatt - Celebrity Stylist & Founder of PR Agency, The Yellow Dot, & Saaksha Bhat - Co-founder, Saaksha & Kinni.

Devki Bhatt gradated as a Pharm D from University of Kentucky in 2011 and practiced as a licensed pharmacist for 10 years. She started her styling career at Rue La La as an E-commerce stylist in 2014. The same year she started her career as Celebrity Stylist in Bollywood with actress Taapsee Pannu. She continued her journey as a Celebrity Stylist and has worked with actors like Radhika Apte, Raj Kummar Rao, Rakul Preet Singh and several others. While working as a stylist she created a Boutique Fashion PR Agency named The Yellow Dot in 2018. The agency works with emerging designers and helps them create, develop and promote their collections effectively. The designers are consulted as to how to place themselves in the fashion landscape of today.

Saaksha & Kinni was founded in 2017, debuted at Gen Next Lakme Fashion Week and has since then gone on to win the Grazia Young Fashion Awards and the Vogue Rising Star Womenswear award.

They have dressed some of India's leading ladies - Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhat, Aishwaria Rai Bacchan, and many more. They have a showroom in New York and sell across India, the Middle East, Europe and North America.
