THE GROWING INFLUENCE OF SNEAKER CULTURE IN STREETWEAR FASHION: In Conversation with Rohan Batra - Managing Director, Cravatex Brands.

Rohan Batra is the Managing Director of Cravatex Brands Limited (CBL), a pan-India retail and distribution platform for lifestyle, sports and wellness products. CBL owns a long-term licence to design, manufacture and distribute Fila brand footwear, apparel and accessories in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. 

Rohan became the CEO of Fila India in 2014, at the age of 26. His focus in the initial years has been on strengthening the foundations of the business through distinct product design and streamlining of distribution across both online and offline channels. A passionate sneakerhead, Rohan dived headfirst into the product upon joining the India business. Working with the sourcing team at footwear factories, he developed an in-depth understanding of footwear technologies, manufacturing and supply chain.

Among the youngest MDs in the Indian sports and fashion space, Rohan holds a First Class Honours MSc from the London School of Economics and a First Class Honours BSc from Cass Business School, London.
