Students explored the artistry of Indian craftsmanship through Chankya International, and its connection to the global luxury industry.
FAD Talents had the opportunity to visit Chanakya International and the Chanakya School of Craft, diving deep into the rich legacy of Indian craftsmanship and its influence on the global luxury industry.
The day began with a warm welcome and an introduction to Chanakya International. Students were guided through the Archive Gallery, a treasure trove of exquisite designs and timeless techniques. This was followed by an immersive tour of the Couture Lab, where the fusion of intricate craftsmanship and modern luxury takes shape, turning creative visions into couture masterpieces.
The second leg of the visit unfolded at the Chanakya School of Craft, a remarkable initiative by the Chanakya Foundation. Here, students explored classrooms and the Living Museum, where skilled artisans brought traditional crafts to life. The experience was further enriched by an interactive Q&A session, where students gained deeper insights into the foundation's dedication to preserving and celebrating artisanal heritage.
