FAD students visit the Lora Piana Headquarters in Milan as a part of the Europe Fashion Experience Tour 2023.
The Europe Fashion Experience Tour by FAD opens doors for students to witness the heritage of fashion houses & labels. FAD students received the opportunity to visit the flagship store of the Italian luxury brand Lora Piana, while in Milan - the fashion capital of world.
Nesting in the heritage building, Lora Piana originates from Trivero and have their roots in wool trading, fine textiles and drapery since the early 1800s.
The Italian luxury brand hosted the FAD students for an industry visit followed by a masterclass at their flagship store during which the students delved in to the brand’s history, their unwavering commitment to artisanal craftsmanship while holding a salient position of supreme fabrics and finished garments for generations.
They further received an insight in to the brand’s store operations, product development, visual merchandising and more.
