In Year One, students garner fundamental learning on a range of modules within fashion, develop their knowledge on global fashion, and understand the various roles within the industry. YEAR 2


In Year Two students develop key knowledge and skills of fashion business in more diverse settings, different market levels and global business, while enhancing their business skills and competencies appropriate to the fashion industry and develop a depth of understanding from a managerial perspective. They develop entrepreneurial approaches to engaging customers and maximising retail profits, are provided knowledge of textiles, garment production and processes to enhance business communication with suppliers. They develop analytical research and presentation skills for forecasting, carry out complex project work involving research, analysis, planning and budgeting in a fashion business context and provide the opportunity to acquire and enhance a range of specialised skills and knowledge in a chosen area related to career aspirations through choices made from the framework. OPTION OF YEAR 3 OVERSEAS


FAD International aims at giving students a truly global experience of learning. Students have the option of pursuing year three in the UK, Italy or France, and specalise with the final year across Fashion Communication, Fashion Buying & Merchandising, Fashion Business Management, Luxury Brand Management, Fashion Practice, Fashion Marketing and Fashion Retail.

FAD EUROPE TOUR


The Europe tour gives students an exclusive opportunity to visit some of the world’s gilt-edged fashion capitals- Paris, London & Milan for fashion events and guest lectures at leading fashion universities. Students achieve both a professional and an unparalleled academic experience providing a platform to work on a global level on completion of the course.




YEAR 3


In Year Three, students begins with a four month internship and end with a 2 month specialisation project. COURSE OVERVIEW


The three years programme in Fashion Communication & Business is for those wanting to pursue an education and explore careers within the extensive field of the industry including Fashion Communication, Fashion Retail, Fashion Marketing, Luxury Brand Management and Fashion Events & Public Relations, or those that want to be entrepeneurs in the field. Year one focuses on building a foundation in fashion while year two equips students with the skills to pursue internships within the sectors supported by us. Year three then begins with a four month long internship. Through out the course, you will get the opportunity to experience various subjects, pathways and career options within the fashion industry and be well equipped with knowledge on its various areas, while interning in various companies with strong footholds in the industry, learning practical skills to enhance your knowledge. ​​ The course also unifies learning on global fashion taught by tutors with international exposure and opportunities to garner unparalled expsoure through the FAD Europe tour & the year abroad opportunities.
