COURSE INFORMATION
YEAR 1
In Year One students pursue a foundation in art & design to develop creative thinking and grasp the design development process. Students are also introduced to global fashion studies and fundamental modules in Fashion. By the end of the year students are able to creatively translate their inspirations from 2D to a final 3D product with a sound technical ability. Students study varied modules and learn to adopt a global perspective on fashion. This inaugural segment of the course has been mindfully set up to enable students to bestow their creativity aiming at professing their signature skills. Students get an opportunity to build a capsule collection at the end of the first year and showcase the work to industry at the FAD Graduate Runway Show. Students also get an opportunity to build a portfolio of thier work and also shoot a professional look book of the capsule collection.

YEAR 2
In Year Two students develop both creative and technical skills in fashion and investigate the wider social, cultural and economic impact on fashion and work towards making a collection at the end of the year. Students study advance level modules with greater understanding and exposure to market trends and industry needs. In this year students apply their learning to both womenswear and menswear by end of the year. Several integrated projects allow students to develop their personal identity in fashion whilst learning the technical skills and experimenting their creative freedom.
By the end of Year Two students work on a 6 piece capsule collection combining skills gained across various modules and showcase thier works at the FAD Graduate Runway Show in India and select collections getting an opportunity to showcase during London Fashion Week.
Students often get to work on live project internships and also gain work placement at the end of the Year Two. Students get opportunities to either work with leading designers, fashion houses, brands or focus on setting up independent labels with ongoing support from the team at FAD.

OPTION OF YEAR 3 OR SEMESTER OVERSEAS
FAD International aims at giving students a truly global experience of learning. Students can apply to Year Three to complete a degree or pursue a semester abroad at the following universities subject to portfolio evaluation and visa issuance to study in the UK.

Apart from the above, students have an opportunity to apply to various European Universities across Italy, France & UK. Faculties from universities visit FAD International to facilitate students seeking admissions for the same through the year. COURSE OVERVIEW
The BTEC Level 5 HND Diploma in Fashion and Textiles provides opportunities for students to apply their knowledge and practical skills in the workplace. The qualification prepares students for employment in the fashion and textiles sector and will be suitable for learners who have already decided that they wish to enter this area of work.
The two year professional qualification allows students to gain practical learning with a project driven curriculum taught by industry insiders. Students gain both technical skills with key focus on creative development & design innovation.
